In the summer of 2025, my community arts proposal was selected by Marin Community Foundation and I was awarded the Pirkle Jones Artist Award. This grant was for $100,000 and needed to be spent on a community art project. Within only 7 months starting from July 2nd, I needed to complete my proposed project and spend the entire award. My proposed project was to design and fabricate a mobile version of Parachute Days, that fit on a trailer, and then produce 3-4 community events using the mobile set up or pieces of it. I successfully completed my scope of work and with my events raised over $10,000 for local non profits.
